宋代欧阳修写过一篇著名的《朋党论》，指出有两种朋党：一种是小人之朋，“所好者禄利，所贪者财货”；一种是君子之朋，“所守者道义，所行者忠信，所惜者名节”。而只有君子之朋才能万众一心，“周武王之臣，三千人成一大朋”，以周公为首。这就是周灭商的道理。周恩来在重庆时就被人称周公，直到晚年，他立党为公，功同周公的形象更加鲜明。“周公吐哺，天下归心。”周公不过是“一饭三吐哺”，而我们的总理在病榻上还心忧国事，“一次输液三拔针”啊。如此忧国，如此竭诚，怎么能不天下归心呢？
总理的五无是劳而无怨。
周总理是中国革命的第一受苦人。上海工人起义，“八一”起义，万里长征，三大战役，这种真刀真枪的事他干；地下特科斗争，国统区长驻虎穴，这种生死度外的事他干；解放后政治工作、经济工作、文化工作，这种大管家的烦人杂事他干；“文化大革命”中上下周旋，这种在夹缝中委曲求全的事他干。他一生的最后一些年头，直到临终，身上一直佩着的一块徽章是：“为人民服务。”如果计算工作量，他真正是党内之最。周恩来是1974年6月1日住进医院的，而据资料统计，1至5月共139天，他每天工作12～14小时有9天；14～18小时有74天；19～23小时有38天；连续24小时有5
